Mushroom Gravy


Mushroom Gravy – 15 minutes to cook

·         Fresh button mushrooms - 200 gms – into quarters pieces

·         Onion - 1 medium size – Finely Chopped

·         Crushed ginger garlic - 1 tbs ( 2 garlic cloves & 1 inch ginger)

·         Crushed pepper powder - 1/2 tsp

·         Green chillies - 1 or 2 according to taste

·         Corn flour - 1/2 tbs

·         Ajinomoto - 1/4 pinch (optional)

 

Method:

Heat a tbs of Olive oil in the pan. Add the chopped mushrooms; keep frying in high flame for 4-5 minutes

Transfer the fried mushrooms to a separate bowl.

Heat olive oil in the pan, add the chopped onions and fry for 2 minute in high flame. Add crushed ginger, garlic paste and pepper powder, add chopped green chillies also. Fry for 2 more minutes. Add ajinomoto salt.

Add the fried mushroom to the pan, add 1 cup of water. Add required amount of the salt to the gravy and allow to cook.

In the meanwhile, mix the corn flour with a 1/4 glass of water without any lumps.


Add the mixed corn flour mixture to the gravy and keep stirring. After adding the corn flour mixture , the gravy gives you a thick and shiny texture.

The gravy is done, you can transfer to a serving bowl. You can serve it now!!
